Role Overview

Referral Agents act as brand ambassadors for Green Goat Financial & Tax Services by referring individuals and businesses in need of tax preparation services. No tax preparation experience is required—this role focuses strictly on referrals.

Compensation Structure

• $65.00 per successful referral
• Referral payment is issued after the client files their tax return
• If the client receives a refund, the Referral Agent is paid once the referral fee is deducted from the refund
• If the client owes taxes, the Referral Agent is paid once tax preparation fees are collected
• There is no cap on referral earnings

• Accurately submit referral information using approved company procedures
• Maintain professional communication when representing the Green Goat brand
• Protect client confidentiality and handle all information responsibly

Professional Conduct & Social Media Guidelines

To maintain brand integrity, Referral Agents are expected to adhere to the following standards:

• Marketing originality: Sharing or reposting tax-related materials from other companies is strictly prohibited. Only official Green Goat Financial & Tax Services materials may be used or shared.
• Professional online presence: From December through May, Referral Agents must maintain a professional profile photo on social media platforms.
• Content standards: During tax season (December–May), posting content that includes offensive language, discriminatory remarks, or material that could damage the reputation of Green Goat Financial & Tax Services, its clients, or the IRS is strictly prohibited.
